10 Things you don’t know about me

First of all, I want to THANK YOU all for following me! We have almost two months since first publishing the blog and we have more than 500 visits. I am really really happy and grateful to all and each of you.

With that said, I wanted to show a little more about me so that you know about the person behind this blog. Also, I would love to be able to interact with you and know what questions you have for me, so do not hesitate to comment below.

1- I love reading. As a child, my father would take me each week to the bookstore to get a book. Back then, books were a bit expensive, but we always got something interesting. I have always thought that my father and I are united by the passion of reading. One of my favorite authors is Ken Follett.

2- I love music. I listen to all genres of music, but my favorites is R&B. I have a secret that I will share with you…when I am home alone I dress like Beyonce and I dance to ‘Single Ladies’. I have almost all the steps memorized, although I am not really sure how well I fare. Someday if I’m brave enough, I could make a video and share it with all of you.

3- I love dogs. I have a Maltese Bichon, but when I was a kid I wanted to have a lion or a cat as a pet.

4- I have a Bachelor in Pharmacy. I wanted to be a doctor and specialize in cardiology, but the moment I see blood, I always faint.

5- I am a very shy person, although I usually hide it very well.

6- I am addicted to perfumes and I am an impulsive shopper. I always get into arguments with my boyfriend because he says that I do not need most of the things I buy.

7- My grandmother is the person I have most admired and loved. There is not a day that I do not think about her, I think she is my angel that watches me from heaven.

8- I love to travel. I went to Europe for the first time when I was 22. I think that when you travel, you learn different cultures and acquire a lot of knowledge. Also, traveling I can develop one of my hobbies: photography.

9- In 2010, I almost left the US with an NGO to help poor children in Africa, but one of the vaccines gave me an allergic reaction. To this day, I remain a volunteer locally.

10- I live in San Francisco. I’m in love with this city, but I’m closing a project in Miami so if everything goes well, I’ll move there soon.

Thank you for reading!

Oli
