Recipe: Ravioli and Spinach Lasagna

Every day I am improving in my recipes. Lasagna is one of my favorite dishes. I remember the first time I ate lasana was many years ago, on a trip to Rome, I can not remember the name of the restaurant, but since then I have been thinking a lot about this dish.

Today I have dared and I wanted to share it with you. Let me know what you think …


2 (9-ounce)package refrigerated small batch classic beef Ravioli

1(24-ounce) jar tomato-basil pasta sauce

1 (10-once) spinach

1( 8-once) mozzarella cheese

Fresh basil leave (optional)

1. Preheat the oven to 400 F Bring 4 quarts water to a bowl. Add the pasta, and cook about 4 minutes.

2. Meanwhile, heat the tomato pasta sauce in a bowl about 3 minutes

3. Spread 1/2 cup of the pasta sauce in the botton of an 11 per 7-inch. Layer half of the beef Ravioli over the sauce. Layer half of the spinach over the ravioli. Top with half of remaining pasta sauce and half of the mozzarella. Repeat the layers with the remaining ravioli, spinach, sauce,and mozzarella. Cover with aluminum foil coated with cooking spray, and bake in the preheated over 6 minutes. Uncover and bake unti; thoroughly heated, about 9 minutes. Garnish with basil leaves, if desired.
