Health and Fitness at Live Fit

Hi guys!!! Happy Tuesday! and welcome to post # 2 on Live Fit. I’ve been receiving a lot of feedback and questions through my email and private messages about my recent blog on Live Fit, so I thought it was time to post about my progress. I have been living a healthy life for almost 3 months now and taking at least 2 personalized Live Fit classes per week.
Last year I took a few CrossFit classes but I could not take it. I realized that it was not meant for me. I wanted to find something more personalized that would specific to my needs. Personalized classes have helped me understand about not seeing the results as fast as I would like. It is often frustrating but it is part of the process.

The first two months, I confess have been the hardest. Although I’ve never led a sedentary life, returning to a physical routine, has become very complicated. When the most important thing is perseverance and there are no short-term results, the struggle is real. However, even when there have been days when I’ve wanted to throw in the towel, here I am, after almost 3 months, writing my post # 2 on Live Fit. I still don’t believe it!!!

How often should I train to start seeing results?

Well, it’s a complex question, but in my case I train at least 4 times a week. I currently take 2 days of personalized training and the rest of the days I just do cardio. It all depends on how much time you have and on each person, but I believe that 3 times a week should be a good start.

Do you have a special diet?

If I am sincere I do not believe in miracle diets. Throughout my life, I have not tried many diets because I was always a thin person. In the last 5 years, I’ve tried a few of them, but none has worked for me. Currently I only do a healthy diet. I do 5 meals per day, including breakfast, which was a challenge for me to start having breakfast as you should.

What would your ideal weight be?

I do not want to be too skinny. My goal is to lose about 15-20 pounds and keep my body toned.

How to make the time to go to the gym?

This question is really interesting to me. Recently, I had a conversation with a person very close to me, where we discussed that topic. One of the things that I usually say is that if you have the time to eat, sleep, go to the hair salon, etc…..then we also have to make some time, which over time just becomes a habit, to do some kind of physical exercise.

We have to be aware of the importance of performing some daily physical activity. Not only because of the physical issue of looking good in front of the mirror, but most importantly because of your health. It is not necessary to do it 7 days a week. I believe that 3 times a week could be fine. You combine that with a balanced diet and could achieve a lot.
It’s really exciting when you look in the mirror and see your body changing little by little. You see how your effort and perseverance begin to bear fruit.
