Where to drink coffee in Miami

Go ahead and raise your hand if you’re a total enthusiast when it comes to a nice cup of coffee. The best moments of my day are always correlated to a cup of coffee. As everyone knows, I lived in San Francisco for many years and I had a variety of coffee shops close to my apartment, where I used to do some blog work and enjoy an exquisite cup of coffee at the same time.

When I arrived in Miami, it was very difficult for me to find places where I could have good coffee, so I spent some time myself exploring sites where I could keep my habit of writing + coffee.

Luckily, I have been discovering several sites in recent months and today during International Coffee Day as a way to celebrate, I’m sharing with you a list of places where you could enjoy a good cup of coffee in the Miami area. You can save the map in case you visit Miami someday.

Coral Gables

Chocolate Fashion: The space is small and on weekends you will often have to wait a bit to get a table, but it’s worth it! Cappuccino or Macchiato are my favorite. You should also taste the delicacies of sweets that they offer.

Cafe Demetrio: The first cafe founded in Coral Gables, one of the most exclusive areas in Miami. This cafe has become one of my favorite in the area. It has a very cozy patio, where you could enjoy the South Florida weather, accompanied by a good cappuccino.

Cafe Curuba: It’s an absolutely charming cafe. I love it! The coffee is delicious and served with very cool designs in the cream. They have some very appetizing snacks that I will surely try them on my next visit.

Chef Sucre Café: This place is a little gem in the Gables. The staff is friendly and attentive and their food is delicious. In addition to a good coffee, enjoy a fantastic Croque Madame. You have to try it…just delicious!!!!!

The Café at Books & Books: A wonderful bookshop with a great modern selection. The store has a wonderful patio cafe that offers good coffee. They have WiFi, so you can work from here and also try their great food options. They don’t open until 9 a.m., which I usually am in my second cup by then.

La Centrale: Located in the luxurious Brickell City Centre. It’s an Italian restaurant with a very cozy concept. You could taste from a good coffee, pizza, sandwiches, cocktails, etc. It also has a mini market if you want to bring Italian products home. One of the things you have to keep in mind is that the gratuity is included!!!

The decoration and good service makes it one of my favorite places in the Brickell area. Without a doubt, it’s something I’ve been waiting to see in Miami since I moved.

Pasion del Cielo Coffee: Also located in the Brickell City Centre. This is a perfect place to relax with a delicious coffee and enjoy the views inside the mall.

Puroast Coffee: Perfect place to work because of its fast internet speed. I love this place! The place has a hacienda decoration style. The coffee is delicious. The staff is friendly and they have a menu with some exquisite snacks.
