A brushstroke of Bangkok

Bangkok has become a very special city for me. If you’ve followed me for a while, you would know that Asia has always been on my top list of places to visit. Deciding to embark on a trip to Bangkok was like seeing a whole new world to me. I can not tell you how wonderful it was to disconnect from everything and live the moment in this magical place.

My initial plan was to share a lot of Instagram photos each day of my trip, but once I arrived in Bangkok I decided to disconnect from everything and live this new experience. I know I promised to share photos every day and I apologize I didn’t, but the city seduced me in such a way it wouldn’t let me connect to my world. And I loved it!

The capital of Thailand, Bangkok is a city of more than 10 million inhabitants and is a perfect summary of an Asian city. A mix of the most modern buildings with the chaos of the street vendors and the streets and sidewalks difficult to traverse, the mixture of smells of food stalls and markets, is something that you love or you hate, there is no intermediate point.

I have not had much time to edit or look at the thousands of photographs taken, but I wanted to share a little preview with you in this post. I learned a lot from the Thai culture and its people. I plan to share a detailed guide and more details about my trip soon.

Have you ever been to Thailand? If so, what cities have you visited?

    Hi Oli
How was your day? This blog is wonderful. I visited Bangkok a couple of years ago for the first time and I fell in love with this city. I agree with you, Bangkok has no middle ground: Do you love him or do you hate him? Pleased to know your blog and thank you for sharing these wonderful photos.
